Synopsis: A weak tropical wave will be affecting the BVI today. Later this afternoon, a more stable environment is expected over those islands

Wx: Today: Mostly cloudy with scattered showers. Brief thunderstorms are possible. A gradual reduction in shower activity is expected later this afternoon.

 Tonight: Partly cloudy to locally cloudy with brief passing showers

Winds: East to east-southeasterly at 10 – 18kts increasing to 20kts over coastal waters.

Seas: Moderate: Heights 1.5-1.8m or 5-6ft;Small craft operators should exercise caution against marginally safe seas.

Barometric Pressure: Above normal
