2:00PM-Tropical Depression 12 has been upgraded to Tropical
Storm Leslie by the National Hurricane Center. The center is
near 14.3N/44.3W, or about 1125 miles east of St. Lucia. Leslie is
expected to pass north of the Caribbean Sea and turn northward into the open
Atlantic. Still, it could pass close enough to bring increasing winds and
heavy thunderstorms to the northeastern Caribbean Sea this weekend and early
next week. A full Advisory will follow around 5PM.
