ROUGH SEAS TODAY….SMALL CRAFT AND SEA BATHERS WARNINGS REMAIN IN EFFECT FOR THE VI

Synopsis: Fresh gusty winds will keep seas hazardous and the atmosphere slightly unsettled. Possible rainfall total for the next 24 hours is 1 to 5 mm (0.04 to 0.20 in).

Weather today: Partly sunny with an 80 percent (or high) chance of brief showers.

Weather tonight: Partly cloudy with a 60 percent (or high) chance of brief showers.

Winds: East-northeasterly at 22 to 33 km/h or 12 to 18 knots, gusting to near 52 km/h or 28 knots, mainly in showers.

Seas: Rough with heights reaching 2.7 metres or 9 feet. Warnings remain in effect. Small craft operators should not venture far from port, and sea-bathers should continue to avoid the waters, mainly on the Atlantic side of the islands.

Atmospheric Pressure: Above normal.
