At 11:00 a.m., the centre of Tropical Storm Dorian was located near Latitude 17.7 North and Longitude 43.4 West. Dorian is moving toward the west-northwest near 21 mph and a general westward at a slightly faster forward speed is expected over the next 48 hours.
Maximum sustained winds are near 50 mph with higher gusts.  Satellite imagery indicates that Dorian is not well organized and some weakening is forecast during the next day or so.
Tropical-storm-force winds extend outward up to 60 miles from the centre.
The estimated minimum central pressure is 1006mb.
Dorian is expected to pass north of the Leeward Islands, Puerto Rico and Hispaniola on Monday and Tuesday. Tropical storm force winds are expected to remain north of these islands. The outer bands could spread some locally heavy rain as it passes to the north.
Expected Impacts Onshore
Northern Leeward Islands, Virgin Islands 
Rainfall: 3 to 6 inches of rain is possible Sunday through early Monday. These rains may cause localized flooding and mudslides.
Storm Surge: No surge expected as the centre should pass north of the islands.
