VIRGINS ISLANDS EXPERIENCING UNSTABLE WEATHER CONDITIONS

VIRGINS ISLANDS EXPERIENCING UNSTABLE WEATHER CONDITIONS

January 13, 20101253Views

13TH
 January 2011 –
A weak
tropical wave will continue moving westward and will cause

periodic
scattered showers mainly east of the Virgin Islands. Slightly drier conditions
are expected on Friday through the weekend.

Marine Conditions

Surface
high pressure to the northeast of the local islands will maintain a tight
pressure gradient across the regional waters for the next several days creating
slightly rough seas. For this reason
a Small Craft Advisory is in effect until Sunday.

The
Department of Disaster Management will continue to monitor the weather
conditions and advise the public accordingly.
