Weather today: Partly cloudy with a 60 percent or a moderate chance of showers.

Weather tonight: Partly cloudy with a 20 percent or a slight chance of showers.

Winds: East at 15 to 30 km/h or 9 to 18 mph with possible gusts up to 52 km/h or 32 mph.

Seas: 1.5 to 2.4 metres or 5 to 8 feet with northeasterly swells up to 1.5 metres or 5 feet. A high surf advisory goes into effect tonight for north and eastern coastlines.
