FLASH FLOOD WARNING ISSUED FOR THE VIRGIN ISLANDS

Synopsis: According to the Antigua Met Service the presence of an
upper level trough coupled with high levels of atmospheric moisture will cause
unsettled weather conditions to linger across the area over the next 24-36
hours.

Wx: Cloudy to overcast
skies tonight and tomorrow with numerous showers, some of which could be
moderate to heavy at times accompanied by widespread thunderstorms. With
numerous showers already occurring across the BVI as well as more heavy showers
expected overnight, a flash flood warning is in place until 6am tomorrow
morning.

Winds: SE at 8-14kts
with high gusts during heavier showers..

Seas: Moderate to
locally rough, swells 1.5-2.1m or 5-7ft. Small craft operators and sea bathers
should continue to exercise caution mainly on the eastern side of the islands..
