SYNOPSIS FOR THE VI

 Synopsis: A deep layered
trough will continue to produce unsettled weather conditions across the area
over the next 24 hours.

Wx: Cloudy to overcast
skies today and tonight with numerous showers, some of which could be heavy at
times accompanied by thunderstorms. With the anticipation of more heavy
showers, a flash flood watch is in effect for the VI until 2pm this afternoon.

Winds: ESE at
12-18kts with higher gusts during heavier showers..

Seas: Moderate,
swells 1.5m or 5ft..

 Below
normal.

Residents should continue to monitor the weather conditions in the event the watch is upgraded to a Flash Flood Warning. 

A Flash flood watch is issued by the Antigua Met Office when conditions are favorable for  flash flooding in flood-prone areas, usually when grounds are already saturated from recent rains, or when upcoming rains will have the potential to cause a flash flood.
